                        "Ferris-Heater 41"

This F-5E was flown by Cmdr Rick Ludwig, nickname "Wigs", when he was CO of the US Navy Fighter
Weapons School, commonly called "topgun", in the mid 1980's.
It wears an unusal camouflage scheme which was devised by US Navy Cmdr C.J. Heatley, nicknmae "Heater",
in collaboration with famed aviation artist Keith Ferris.
The idea behind the scheme was to break up and mirror the aircrafts appearance in an attempt to confuse
an opponent during a dogfight. To this end they even painted a false canopy on its underside.
This aircraft went through at least two variations on this splinter scheme, including one experiment with a light
grey nose.
The "Heater-Ferris" schemes were also tried on F-4's, F-14's and F-15's.

The absence of the majority of data stenciling is deliberate and follows photos of the real aircraft.

To install this skin place it in the "F-5E3" folder in the liveries file.
The path should be "EagleDynamics/DCS World 2 OpenAlpha/Bazar/Liveries/F-5E3"
If you get there and find you have no folder in Liveries just create a new one and call it: F-5E3

Enjoy,
